For many, the 3rd step will be to work with consulting companies to implement the 21st century advisor business model.
Mentoring
While reading the book can be very instructive, it can only cover so much. Many who desire to implement the 21st century advisor business model will want to discuss the various models with an expert who is familiar with all three.
As part of a mentoring process, it is important to get to know each advisor in a fairly in depth manner. This is necessary so an appropriate recommendation can be made and so the advisor can feel comfortable that he/she fully understands the pros and cons of the model and what it really takes to implement it.
Roccy DeFrancesco , JD decided before writing the book that he would act as mentors and support person for advisors who wanted to take the journey to transform their businesses as outlined in the book.
